Actual Gallery Visits & Virtual Gallery Tours

Why not treat yourself (or yourself and a friend) to a well-informed, enjoyable and in-depth look at the art in world-famous collections and temporary special exhibitions, covering art from the Renaissance to the present day

I’m offering actual guided gallery visits and virtual 'gallery tours' of London’s (and increasingly, other international cities') permanent art collections, as well as selected, special exhibitions you might have missed or want to visit with a guide.

• Actual Gallery Visits

Guided by me, you can learn about a selection of the works on show at the gallery, add your own thoughts, or just drift through and soak up the art, the information and the atmosphere in a small, exclusive group of 2–10 people.

Tours last for approximately two hours. The price for each guided tour, plus my notes, emailed to you afterwards, is £30/person (some venues/exhibitions may charge an entry fee, but many are free and I like to do as many free gallery visits as possible)

•  Virtual Tours

The virtual tours take the form of illustrated talks. If you sign up, you’ll be sent a pdf with high-resolution images that you can easily flick through on screen at the same time, view on another device, or print out and follow as I take to the floor on Zoom, with projected images. These images won’t be as sharp as those I’ll be sending you on the pdf, but will allow me to point things out as I speak, in an attempt to make the presentation as much like a live lecture as possible.

The price for a two-hour virtual tour plus my notes, emailed to you afterwards, is just £20 (£30 for two on one email account, to accommodate those who want to share a screen).

Please feel free to sign up, via the form below, to receive the latest (or next) schedule of talks – I send out a new schedule every couple of months or so. You may not get one straight away if I am between schedules, but you will receive the latest information as soon as it is available. Or, you could contact me directly with any questions, or to sign up on connie.spark@btopenworld.com

If you don’t have, or have never used Zoom, please let me know and I can show you how to download it safely and get started very easily.
